202: Business Development

Setting Up Your FB-Series Factoring Website

Your FB Series Website

Your website is provided by DataMax Marketing Systems, Inc. and is constructed using the latest technology.  Your site uses WordPress as its platform and features a powerful “drag and drop” plugin for editing called Elementor.  With Elementor, you have complete control over the look and feel of your sites and most important for most brokers and consultants, you do not need any training regarding “code”.  Elementor is a true “drag and drop” editor and you can learn more about Elementor in the video on YouTube linked under Additional Content.

FB Series Website Operation

Your website is provided by DataMax which provides a great deal of support available to you at their site.  Below are important links you may find handy.

Submitting Support Tickets at DataMax

If you need support on your website, you will simply create a SUPPORT TICKET from your cleint dashboard at DataMax Hosting.  After successfully logging in, look in the upper right and select the Blue Button to “Open a Ticket”.  We monitor tickets hourly.

Checking Your Email

Checking your business email is something you will do daily and the easiest method is to simply log into your dashboard at DataMax Hosting.  From your dashboard and under your “Active Products and Services select the drop down button entitled MANAGE and then select “Log into cPanel”.  CPanel displays a folder labeled “Email” which then displays the various mail folders you have set up.  You are authorized for up to 10 email boxes available to you with your Silver Hosting Plan.

Email Forwarders

If you don’t want to bother checking your email every day by logging in, it is very easy to set up a “Forwarder”.   This is again accomplished by logging into your cPanel through your account at DataMax Hosting.  Next to your folder for “Email”, you will see the folder marked “Forwarders”. If have two (2) options.  You can forward a domain and you can forward an email.  Select “email”.  You will select the email address you wish from those you have set up and then forward it to a regular email you use daily such as Yahoo or Gmail.  Once set up, you will be notified in your regular personal email anyone requests information from your website.

Logging Into Your WordPress Dashboard

In addition to your dashboard at DataMax, you will also have a control panel / dashboard associated with your websites WordPress platform.  In addition to all of the many WordPress functions available for your site, you will also find your Elementor drag and drop editor plugin in this dashboard.  Again, this topic is too  expansive to cover in this short article and we’ve posted several videos on YouTube to help you understand the many features of WordPress.

To log into your WordPress dashboard, simply go to your websites landing page (primary page / front page) and directly after the .com, enter /wp-admin and hit ENTER.  This will now display the standard log in box.  Use the USERNAME and PASSWORD credentials provided to you from DataMax when your set wes created.
