Congratulations on becoming an IACFB member and deciding to establish your online presence with a professional website. DataMax offers a user-friendly platform for IACFB members to create and host their websites, and this article will guide you through the process of setting up your website.

You’ve already created your IACFB Members Account at DataMax but don’t have a cPanel and hosting account for a website. Follow these steps to get a website up and operational.

Step 1: Log into Your Client Dashboard

To begin, log in to your client dashboard at DataMax. You set up login credentials (email and password) when you registered for your IACFB membership. If you encounter any login issues, be sure to contact DataMax’s customer support for assistance.

Step 2: Adding Hosting Services

Once you’re logged in, select t “SERVICES” section in the MENU. This is where you can manage and add hosting services to your account.

Step 3: Adding a Hosting Plan

To add hosting services, click the light blue button labeled “+Add New“. This action will prompt a page to appear, displaying your choices for Enterprise Hosting Plans. You can select from a range of options, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum hosting accounts depending on the website you want to build.

• Bronze Hosting (Agent): This is your choice if you’re just getting started as an Agent with an SA Series website.  It is low cost and provides ample storage and bandwidth for small to medium-sized websites.
• Silver Hosting (Broker): This is the DataMax hosting plan that we use for FB-Series websites.  The Silver hosting plan offers increased performance and capabilities.
• Gold Hosting (Consultant): For websites with high traffic and resource demands, the Gold hosting plan ensures optimal speed and reliability.  This is the plan used for the SuperSites and Commercial Finance Consultants.
• Platinum Hosting (Partners): This premium plan is designed for the dedicated website template for the Partners Program.  It provides additional capabilities for those  with the extensive needs for that program, offering top-tier performance, security, and support.

Step 4: Completing the Setup

After choosing your hosting plan, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process. You will first be asked for additional details such as your domain name, and you will have three choices. 

• I will REGISTER a new domain.
• I will TRANSFER a domain from another registrar.
• I will use my EXISTING domain and update my name servers. 

Note:  POINTING YOUR DOMAIN’S DNS

If you already have a domain you purchased from another host and want to use it, you will need to “point” that domain to our servers.  Point your domain to:

• ns1.dmswebhost.con
• ns2.dmswebhost.com

That will be needed so we can install WordPress and import your website template.

Step 5:  Complete the Payment Process: 

Complete the payment information, and personal preferences. Typically once complete, we will have your website up and operational within 24 hours.
