Post Seminar and Workshop Follow Up

Workshop Seminar and Follow Up

Workshops and seminars are one of the most effective productivity tools available to you and they are an exceptional method to build relationships with local (and some non local) business owners.  While you will likely end up with 20 to 25 attendees at your workshop, bear in mind the 250 – 500 invitations you mailed to those that could not attend are also a source of high quality leads since you have already touched them once.  Many of those that could not attend your event the first time you offer are often high quality leads for subsequent workshops.

Workshop Seminar and Follow Up

If you had 15 or more attendees at your seminar, it is likely you will net one (1) new client from your efforts.  Within the next 30 days, you likely have the possibility to contracting a second.  While that sounds small, on the contrary, landing 2 new clients from a similar workshop is a clear path to success.  Even if thus accounts are average to small, that will  mean each client will generate $300-$400 each in commissions each month or $600 – $800 total a month.  That can approach $10,000 a year.  That is why career consultants that focus on the marketing method do nothing else than plan Seminars and Workshops.  They have an event each and every month and become experts at it.
