Specialized Commercial Factoring Transactions
For most factoring brokers and consultants, you will market to and develop factoring relationships for very common industries that invoice customers without any special considerations. In the industry, these factoring relationships are considered “plain vanilla factoring”.
There are, however, many industries that employ factoring as their chosen form of alternative commercial finance but that also require special handling by the factor. Some such industries you will prospect are very common, such as the construction industry, and you, as a factoring consultant, will market to them routinely. Others are much less common, such as when you start marketing to sellers on Amazon.
